 Bangalore
The garden city of India, Bangalore is located in the southern part of the state of Karnataka. It is around 998km from Mumbai and 562km from Hyderabad. Also known as the 'Garden City' of India, Bangalore is the capital city of Karnataka. Today this bustling city represents a staggering diversity of religions, cultures and traditions. On account of its booming IT industry, Bangalore is called the 'Silicon Valley' of India. Popular attractions of the city include the Jawaharlal Nehru Planetarium, the Tipu Sultan Palace, The Lal Bagh, The Cubbon Park, The Gangadhareshwar Temple; Bannerghatta National Park etc.

Shopping is a delightful experience in Bangalore. You can take home handicrafts -- sandalwood and rosewood -- available in state-owned emporia and private stores.  Mysore
Cultural capital of Karnataka, Mysore is a majestic, mysterious and mesmersing city. It has inherited all Indian traditions with modernity. Mysore has a number of historical and heritage buildings.

Mysore is a place well renowned for Dasara festival and is a favored tourism destination throughout India. The city of Mysore is an interesting combination of beautiful palaces, sprawling gardens, shady avenues and elegant temples. The city served as the capital of the Wodeyar rulers who ruled the place for around 150 years till India gained her independence. There are attractions like the Mysore Palace, the Chamundi Hill, the Jagmohan Palace, the St. Philomena's Church, and the Brindavan Gardens etc.

 Mangalore
Mangalore has been considered as one of the beautiful cities in India and is extensive as her suburbs are perched on the sides of hills and valleys. It is perhaps the breathtaking natural scene with which Mangalore welcomes its people with, that makes it a lovely place to be in. The city has developed at the confluence of the two legendary rivers, the Nethravathi and the Gurupura River. Mangalore or Mangaluruhas had its name originated from the Mangla Devi Temple.

Mangalapuram or Mangalore is wonderfully surrounded by the Shayadri hill ranges. It is the land where some great sages like Kanva, Vysa, Vashishta and Vishwamitra spent their days of meditation. The city has attractions like the Sultan Battery, the Kadri Manjunath Temple, the Light House Hill Garden, St. Aloysius Church, the Mangala Devi Temple, the Kudroli Gokarnath Temple etc.

 Hassan
194 km from Bangalore, the tranquil tiny town of Hassan is fast becoming popular with the tourists on account of its unique and exclusive style of architecture. Nearby destinations of Belur, Halebid and Shravanabelagola are popular for their beautiful temples. Hassan is the oldest town of the Hoysala dynasty.
The nearest airport is Bangalore, from where one can take flights to major destinations in India like Delhi, Calcutta, and Mumbai. Hassan is connected to Bangalore, Mysore, and Mangalore by regular trains. Hassan is linked with Belur, Halebid, Shravanbelgola, Bangalore and Mysore by road.


 Hampi
Founded in the 14th century by two local princes, Hukka and Bukka, The town of Hampi lies at a distance of 353 km from the capital city of Bangalore. The town preserves some ruins belonging to the Vijayanagar Empire, the erstwhile medieval Hindu kingdom. Places of interest include the Virupaksha Temple, the Ugra Narasimha, The Vithala Temple, The Hazara Rama Temple, Lotus Mahal, Virupaksha Temple and Queen's Bath etc. The nearest airport is Bellary (74 kms). The nearest train junction is at Hospet. Hampi is 350 kms from Bangalore. KSRTC Buses ply regularly from Hospet.
